Where Production Goes Wrong
Dye penetration must be even through the full width - check the centre-to-selvedge variation and the batch-to-batch shift on a bulk sample.
Ombre is a colour-matching problem: approve the light end, the dark end and the mid-point separately, then keep retained samples per lot.
