Tulle Arabic Evening Dress in Sky Blue or Blue with Satin Accents
When a request arrives with فستان سهرة تل سماوي in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.
In production this is a tulle evening dress, cut in sky blue. Tulle volume comes from layers, not from weight. Every tulle edge that touches skin needs a soft binding, or the dress is unwearable after an hour. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sky blue and baby blue read cool on camera and warm under tungsten, so the lab dip has to be checked in both lights before the bulk is dyed.
What Has To Be Specified
- Shell: Tulle, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: Sky Blue, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.

Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
