The Deli Dog Sweatshirt from Damson Madder in grey marl, an oversized fit with playful graphics on the front, back and sleeves, a classic crew neck, ribbing at the cuffs and hem, and a soft fleece lining, listed at 60 GBP with two of six sizes in stock. It is worth beginning with the fit statement, because this is the first garment in this run where a fit claim survives the arithmetic, and the reason it survives is worth setting out precisely. The page says two things rather than one. It says the sweatshirt is oversized in fit, and separately, that the brand recommends taking your usual size. Two sentences, doing two different jobs: one describes the shape, the other tells a customer what to order. This run has spent a great many batches finding that fit words fail, and it has diagnosed the failure in several ways, and here is a page that does not fail, and the difference is exactly that it uses two statements instead of collapsing them into one word. And the numbers support both of them. The pit to pit runs 64 to 74 centimetres, which doubles to 128 to 148 centimetres around, or about 50 to 58 inches, against bodies of roughly 31 to 41 inches. So the ease is about 19 inches at the smallest size and about 17 at the largest, which is genuinely oversized, and which barely changes across the range, so taking your usual size does give you the same relationship at every size. The word is earned, the instruction holds, and the chart agrees with both. The reference is the Deli Dog Sweatshirt. Dongguan Bafinasa Garments Co., Ltd. develops comparable sweatshirts on OEM and ODM terms, from fleece sourcing by weight to retail or FBA ready packing. We publish this as a development reference and build your own version of it, and we do not supply the branded original or reproduce anyone else's label.

Occasions and Styling
Suits autumn, winter, spring and everyday casual wear. An oversized fleece-lined sweatshirt with graphics is a straightforward layer over jeans or leggings, and the fleece makes it warm enough on its own.
Production and Quality Control
The reference publishes three columns for all six sizes with two grading cleanly, states the fleece construction, states the fit word, gives a separate and correct sizing instruction, states where the graphics are placed, gives a care instruction with a temperature and a tumble prohibition, states the country of manufacture, lists the construction in a bullet list and names the style code. It gives no cloth weight, no rib composition or depth, no print method, no graphic dimensions, no wash test for the print, no neck depth, no sleeve measurement origin, no cuff circumference, no shoulder width, no shrinkage figure, no pilling guidance, no size conversion and no model, and it freezes its sleeve column. Three things follow: the two fit statements that the chart supports, the clean grading that runs opposite to this brand's other garment in this same batch, and the graphics that are named but not specified.
Oversized, and take your usual size, and that is the first thing, and it is the first time in this run that both halves of a fit claim have held up. This run has now tested a good number of fit claims and has found that they fail in one of two ways. Either the word does not match the numbers, or the word matches at one end of the size range and not the other, because the ease moves as the sizes move. This page says two things. It says the sweatshirt is oversized in fit. And separately, it says the brand recommends taking your usual size. Two sentences, and they are not the same sentence, and that turns out to be the whole trick. The shape is described by one, and the ordering instruction by the other. It is worth running the numbers on both, because this run can. The pit to pit runs 64 to 74 centimetres, which doubles to 128 to 148 centimetres around, or about 50 to 58 inches, against bodies of roughly 31 to 41 inches across a UK 6 to 16. So the ease is about 19 inches at the smallest size and about 17 at the largest. Nineteen inches of ease is oversized, genuinely, and the word is earned rather than decorative. And it falls by only about two inches across the whole range, so the relationship between a customer's body and this garment is very nearly the same at every size, which means take your usual size is true as an instruction. It is worth setting this beside the other true to size claims this run has tested, because the comparison is now long enough to be decisive. One was a pair of jeans whose ease ran from about three and a half inches down to about two, so it got tighter as the sizes rose. Another from the same brand ran from under one inch up to six, so it got looser. A third was a jacket with a steady twenty inches of ease, described as fitting true to size, which was consistent but which no customer would call true to size in the ordinary sense. This one is the only one where the word, the instruction and the numbers all point the same way, and the difference is not that the numbers are better. It is that the page used two sentences instead of one word. It is worth adding that this garment costs sixty pounds, which is the cheapest in this batch, and the jackets and coats that got this wrong cost two hundred and fifty five and three hundred and twenty. Getting this right costs a sentence.
Two and one, and that is the second thing, and it is clean in a way that makes this run's other findings sharper rather than softer. The bust goes 64, 66, 68, 70, 72 and 74, stepping exactly two at every step. The length goes 62, 63, 64, 65, 66 and 67, stepping exactly one at every step. Six sizes, two columns, no wobble and no blocks. It is worth setting that beside the other garment from this brand in this same batch, because the two are as different as two charts from one brand can be. That garment is a skirt, on the same six sizes, whose waist steps one, one, two, two, two and whose length steps zero, zero, two, zero, zero, so it grades in two blocks of three rather than across six steps. Here, both columns grade across every step. Same brand, same season, same size scale, and one garment is perfectly graded and the other is blocked. It is worth saying that this run has now found this at three brands in a row, and that makes it general rather than specific. Minus both graded and did not grade. Bellerose graded at one, two, four, four and not at all. And now Damson Madder, on two garments in one batch, one clean and one blocked. So the decision whether to grade a measurement properly is made garment by garment at every brand this run has examined closely enough to tell. It is worth then adding what does hold across this brand, because there is something, and it is the first genuinely positive brand level finding this run has made about grading. Damson Madder's bust grades, across the garments this run has measured, are two, three, two, three and two. Every one of them clean, and the spread between the largest and the smallest is one and a half times. Set that against Bellerose, whose grades run from one to four, a spread of four times, with one broken column. So the brand this run has criticised hardest in other respects, for a midi dress at seventy three centimetres and for fibre programmes with no certification behind them, turns out to be the most consistent grader in the run. It is worth saying what that establishes, because it is the useful part. Being good at one part of a product page does not predict being good at another, and this run has now watched the same brand be the best at grading and among the worst at describing. It is worth closing on the sleeve, which is the third column and does what this run has seen many times. It is 58 centimetres at every size, frozen across six. The body grows ten centimetres flat, or twenty around, and the sleeve does not move at all, and there is no measurement origin stated, so a customer cannot even tell where the 58 begins.
Fleece-lined, and that is the third thing, and it is a direct answer to something this run asked for one batch ago. Last batch it published a sweatshirt from another brand that read 100% cotton and nothing else, and noted that on a sweatshirt the construction is the specification: brushed back fleece, or loopback french terry, or flat jersey, and that a customer cannot tell them apart from a fibre panel. This page says lined in fleece in the bullets and soft fleece-lined cotton in the description, so the construction is named. Credit, and it costs two words. It is worth then noting what is still missing, because it is the same gap as last time. There is no weight. Fleece-lined tells a customer what kind of cloth it is and not how much of it there is, and the difference between a 280 gram fleece and a 420 gram one is the difference between a layer and a coat. There is no rib composition and no rib depth, on a garment whose cuffs and hem are ribbed, and the rib is what decides whether the cuffs recover after washing or go baggy. And there is no pilling guidance on a fleece that will be washed repeatedly. It is worth setting the graphics beside this, because they are the other half of what this garment is and they follow the pattern this run keeps finding. The description says playful graphics on the front, back and sleeves, and the bullets say grey with green graphics. So the placement is given, on three sides, which is more than most pages manage and is worth crediting. But there is no print method, no graphic dimensions, no motif count, and no wash test. A printed graphic is the first thing on a sweatshirt to crack, and there is no statement about how many washes it will survive. It is worth adding the rule this run can now state, because this is the fifth garment to fit it. A garment named after a decorative element never specifies that element. A top called Strawberry with no strawberry count. A dress named for its print with no repeat size. A knit called Stripe A with no stripe measurement. A skirt called Basil Stripe with no stripe width. And now a sweatshirt called Deli Dog, named after its graphic, with no graphic dimensions anywhere. Five garments, five elements, five specifications missing. It is worth closing on the care label, which is short and where two clauses are missing exactly where this garment needs them. It reads machine wash at 30 degrees, do not tumble dry. That is it. There is no instruction to wash inside out, on a garment printed on three sides, and inside out is the standard advice for keeping a print intact. And there is no iron instruction, and you cannot iron over a print, so on a garment with graphics on the front, the back and both sleeves, the absence of that instruction is not a small omission. Every bulk shipment gets a measurement report against your approved chart.
Optional upgrades include quoting the fleece weight in grams per square metre, naming the print method and giving the graphic dimensions and a wash test result for the print, grading the sleeve across the sizes, stating the sleeve measurement origin and the cuff circumference, giving the rib composition and depth, the neck opening width and depth and the shoulder width, adding washing inside out and a do not iron on the print instruction to the label, adding shrinkage and pilling figures, publishing a size conversion and a model height, brushed back, loopback and organic fleece options, single chest graphics, embroidery and applique, raglan, dropped shoulder and three quarter sleeves, plain and deep rib hems, funnel, V and hooded necks, regular and relaxed fits, size set, colour development, private label, hangtag and care labelling.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
