We specify the snap, reinforce behind it, and test it by opening and closing it repeatedly and under load rather than assuming it holds because it looked fine on the hanger. Being practical, we would also tell you that the fit of a bodysuit depends on torso length as much as on width, and a bodysuit that is too short in the body is uncomfortable in a way no amount of stretch fixes, so we grade the body length as a separate measurement.
Machine washable cold is the second, and we would keep it and say so loudly.
