The button front is the first thing. Buttons and buttonholes do not stretch and this fabric does, so a placket on a stretch knit gaps between the buttons and the buttonholes distort into ovals after repeated opening. With only 5% elastane the stretch is modest, which helps, but the placket still needs stabilising behind it and the button spacing has to be set rather than guessed. We would also tell you honestly that a concealed zip is the more forgiving option and that snaps sit closer to the look of buttons with less of the problem, and we would build whichever you choose and test it through repeated opening and closing.
Rayon is the second. 95% rayon is weak when wet, it creases, and it shrinks, and there are three layers here: the shell and two linings. If those three do not shrink alike the whole garment twists, and on a garment this long a twist is very visible. Dry clean only protects it in use, which is the right call for this fibre, but we still test shrinkage before bulk cutting and compensate the pattern, and we test that all three layers behave alike rather than assuming they do because they came from the same mill.
Length and height are the third. The published length is 131 cm on a model who is 182 cm, so on most customers this becomes a floor length dress, and a floor length dress that is slightly too long is a tripping hazard rather than a styling choice. We would set the length against your actual customer height range, and we would say the length plainly on your product page rather than only showing it on a tall model. Every bulk shipment gets a measurement report against your approved chart.
Optional upgrades include a defined composition and weight with testing reports, an alternative knit with more elastane and tested recovery, a single lining or unlined version, a concealed zip or snap alternative, contrast buttons, alternative lengths, extended sizing, colour development and private label, hangtag and care labelling.
