The cloth is the first thing. 72% viscose with 28% polyester and no elastane at all is a jersey that will grow and recover poorly, and on a garment this long with full sleeves there is a lot of fabric hanging under its own weight. The predictable result is that it lengthens in wear and bags at the elbows, and a dress that is floor length to start with will end up trailing. On your version we would test growth and recovery rather than only stretch, and we would put a small percentage of elastane in, or move to a polyester rich blend, unless you specifically want the drape of viscose and accept what comes with it. That is a real trade and we would rather you chose it than inherited it.

The published waist and hip are the second. A 22 inch waist against a 38 inch hip on a knit with no stretch fibre means the dress is either cut with a lot of shaping or the published numbers are not both garment measurements. We would not grade from that row. We would put it on a fit model, find out which it is, and then set the grade.

The details are the third. Thumb holes are cut into a knit that already stretches, so they open up and tear unless they are reinforced, and a torn thumb hole cannot be repaired. Padded shoulders in a machine washable garment need to be removable or they will shift, wrinkle and eventually press into a permanent crease. A back vent in jersey curls and flips unless it is given a stay.
