Those are not body measurements on a 178 cm model, and the most likely reading is flat measurements on a cloth with 27% elastane, which makes them close to meaningless for sizing. The length, 44 in, is the usable figure. Production and Quality Control

There are no customer reviews on this listing, so there is no score to quote and no complaint pattern to read. We plan from construction, and a high-elastane knit dress with built-in support has three things that decide whether it works.

Twenty-seven percent elastane is the first, and it is both what makes the dress and the most likely thing to fail. At that level the elastane is doing the fitting, and cheap elastane loses its return: the dress then bags at the seat and the hem, stops holding at the bust, and does not recover between wears. That failure arrives after a few washes rather than immediately, which is what makes it expensive. We specify the yarn and the elastane brand rather than accepting a mill substitute, test recovery after washing and after wear rather than only on the hanger, and record the stretch range as a specification rather than a note, because the range is the real tolerance here.

The built-in support is the second. It has to be built to survive washing and wearing, not just to look right in a fitting: the elastic has to be the right width and tension, it has to be anchored rather than threaded and hoped, and it has to sit at the right height on a range of body shapes rather than on one fit model. Support that rides up or rolls is worse than no support. We develop it by sample, test it on more than one body, and test it after the care cycle rather than only on the finished garment.

The recycled claim is the third. Recycled nylon is a certification with a paper trail, and if you want it on the label the yarn has to come with GRS transaction certificates that match the quantity, not just a mill's word. We would ask for that documentation, and if it is part of why a customer buys the dress, we would treat it as part of the product rather than as paperwork. Beyond that, close-fitting knits need seams that stretch with the cloth or they pop, so we specify the seam types, test opacity in the colourway you run since the dress is unlined, test pilling and abrasion, and check the garment after the care cycle.
