This is our own reference grade, not a chart copied from the original listing. We want to explain why, because the original page does contain a size table and it would have been easy to copy it. That table is headed US BEADED DRESS and runs from 14W to 34W with a bust measuring forty four inches at the first size and sixty two inches at the last, which belongs to a completely different plus size embellished dress and not to this chiffon maxi. It is sitting on the same page, but it is not this garment, so we have excluded it rather than pass another product's measurements off as these. What the listing does reliably tell us is the size range: petite sizes 4P through 14P, with regular sizes 6 through 18 in the same variation family, and a size type of Petite. We built the grade above for the petite block with roughly a three centimetre step between sizes on bust and hip, with a one to two centimetre making tolerance understood throughout, and every figure is yours to revise once you tell us your customer and whether you want a true petite proportion or simply a shorter regular. That distinction matters more than it sounds. We are building it on what the listing says about its own construction, which is unusual and useful: the fabric composition is given as ninety nine percent polyester with one percent metallic, the fabric is declared no stretch and lightweight, the garment is fully lined in polyester, it closes at the back with a zipper and hook and eye, and care is hand wash only. That is a real specification, and it tells us exactly where the risk sits.

The first risk is the one percent metallic. It is what gives the fabric its light catching quality and it is also the reason the garment is marked hand wash only, because metallic threads are the part of a cloth that heat and agitation damage first. They dull with high iron temperatures, they can break under a hot iron or a hard press, they snag during sewing if the needle is past its life, and they change appearance after washing in ways that do not show until the customer has already worn the dress. So we set press temperature and test it on the actual cloth, we check needle condition on the line, we run abrasion checks, and we confirm the metallic reads the same on every lot, because a lot to lot shift in a glint is invisible under factory light and obvious in a photograph.

The second risk is that the fabric has no stretch and the waist is fitted. Put those together and there is nothing forgiving anywhere in this dress: if the bust or waist ease is even slightly wrong there is no give to absorb it, and the customer experiences that as the dress simply not fitting, which is the most common reason a dress like this comes back.
