Measurements are garment measurements taken flat by hand, please allow 1-2 cm deviation. The back smocking and the dual adjustable ties give extra ease through the bust and waist, so this style fits across a wider range of shapes than a fixed bodice. Ankle length depends on height and on where the straps are tied, so it reads as midi on taller frames and floor-skimming on shorter ones. A second grading is used for solid colourways, so please confirm which chart applies to the colour you are ordering. Flat-pack vacuum packing can leave the dress creased on arrival, and we can pack flat with tissue or on the hang to reduce this. We grade to your own spec sheet or to a sample you send us.
Three Ways to Wear the Back Tie
- Thread both ties through the two back tie holes in parallel and tie a large bow
- Cross the ties at the back first, then thread them through the two holes and tie a bow
- With help: knot the ties at the neck halter style, then tie two bows at the two back tie holes

Measurement reports and photos can be shared before shipment. Optional upgrades include a lining or a lined bodice, wider or narrower smocking, longer ties, deeper pockets, a soft wash for a silkier hand, and GRS certified recycled or OEKO-TEX certified fabric.
