Luxury Arabic Evening Dresses with Pleats - Wholesale
Buyers searching فساتين السهرة بليسيه فخمة are usually sourcing for the Gulf market, where an evening dress is judged in a hall, at a distance, under chandelier light. That changes what the money should be spent on.
In production these are pleated evening dresses in the luxury direction. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep. Luxury in this category is a construction claim more than a price claim: boned bodice, hand-finished lining, beading that does not shed, and a hem that hangs level.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Pleated. Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep.
- Colour: name the exact tone and send a swatch. In this category a photo is not a colour reference.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep.
The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
Options We Can Build To
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Detail alternatives on the Pleated: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
