Royal Arabic Evening Dresses with Pleats in Blue - Wholesale
فساتين السهرة بليسيه لون ازرق نيلي translates roughly to "royal evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production these are pleated evening dresses in the royal direction, cut in blue. A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep. A royal direction means the dress carries its decoration centrally - a jeweled bodice, a defined waist and a skirt with controlled volume, nothing asymmetric. Blue is the widest-selling colour family in this category; keep two dips - one cool, one deeper - and let the buyer choose per market.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Ball Gown bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Pleated. Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep.
- Colour: Blue, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep.
The first sample passes on the form and fails on a body: the waist sits high, the armhole cuts, or the sweep is 4 cm short. Fit on a real model before approving anything.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Options We Can Build To
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Detail alternatives on the Pleated: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
