Arabic Evening Dresses with a Sleeveless Cut in Wine
فساتين سهرة بدون أكمام لون ماروني translates roughly to "evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production these are sleeveless evening dresses, cut in wine. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut. Wine and maroon are the safest deep tones for a beaded bodice, because a bead that is a shade off does not read as a mistake.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Sleeveless. Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut.
- Colour: Wine, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
The first sample passes on the form and fails on a body: the waist sits high, the armhole cuts, or the sweep is 4 cm short. Fit on a real model before approving anything.

Options We Can Build To
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Detail alternatives on the Sleeveless: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
