Arabic Evening Dresses with a Sleeveless Cut in Burgundy or Wine - Wholesale
Buyers searching فساتين سهرة كت لون عنابي are usually sourcing for the Gulf market, where an evening dress is judged in a hall, at a distance, under chandelier light. That changes what the money should be spent on.
In production these are sleeveless evening dresses, cut in burgundy. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut. Burgundy hides construction and shows lint. Plan a roller and a covered bag into the packing line.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Sleeveless. Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut.
- Colour: Burgundy, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut.
Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.

Options We Can Build To
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Detail alternatives on the Sleeveless: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
