Arabic Evening Dresses with a Sleeveless Cut in Navy or Blue - Wholesale
فساتين سهرة بدون أكمام لون كحلي translates roughly to "evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production these are sleeveless evening dresses, cut in navy. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut. Navy is the workhorse of the category: it flatters, it photographs cleanly, and it hides a slightly uneven beading density better than black.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Sleeveless. Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut.
- Colour: Navy, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Sleeveless means the armhole is the fit. Depth, curve and binding all have to be right before the first sample is cut.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.

Options We Can Build To
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Detail alternatives on the Sleeveless: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
