Royal Arabic Evening Dresses with a High Slit in Emerald
When a request arrives with فساتين سهرة فتحة جانبية لون اخضر ملكي in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.
In production these are high slit evening dresses in the royal direction, cut in emerald. A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
A high slit needs a faced placket and a bar-tack at the stop point. Without the tack, the slit splits past the stop within a season. A royal direction means the dress carries its decoration centrally - a jeweled bodice, a defined waist and a skirt with controlled volume, nothing asymmetric. Emerald and deep green are the colours most likely to shift under LED lighting, so approve the dip under the light the customer will actually stand in.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Ball Gown bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: High Slit. A high slit needs a faced placket and a bar-tack at the stop point. Without the tack, the slit splits past the stop within a season.
- Colour: Emerald, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
A high slit needs a faced placket and a bar-tack at the stop point. Without the tack, the slit splits past the stop within a season.
The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Options We Can Build To
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Detail alternatives on the High Slit: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
