Soft Arabic Evening Dresses with Pleats - Wholesale
فساتين السهرة بليسيه ناعمة translates roughly to "soft evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production these are pleated evening dresses in the soft direction. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep. Soft styling favours drape over structure - gathered bodices, fluid skirts and decoration that follows the body instead of standing away from it.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Pleated. Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep.
- Colour: name the exact tone and send a swatch. In this category a photo is not a colour reference.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Knife pleats have to be set with heat and stitched down before packing, or they arrive as soft folds and the skirt loses its sweep.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
Options We Can Build To
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Detail alternatives on the Pleated: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
