Mermaid Arabic Evening Dresses in Red - Sample Order

Source:News / Time:2026-10-31

The Arabic search phrase فساتين سهرة سمكة لون احمر is the kind of query that lands in a factory inbox with a screenshot and a price, and nothing else. Unpacked, it names a length, a cloth and a finish - and those three decisions fix most of the cost before a single sample is cut.

In production these are evening dresses, cut in red. A mermaid silhouette is fitted from the bust to just below the knee and flares from there. The knee break is the whole fitting: 3 cm either way and the dress either walks or it does not.

Red is the highest-risk dye in the range: it crocks, it bleeds in cleaning, and it varies by lot. Fix the dip and stick to one dyehouse.

What Has To Be Specified

  • Block: Mermaid bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
  • Colour: Red, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
  • Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
  • Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
  • Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
  • Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
  • Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

A mermaid silhouette is fitted from the bust to just below the knee and flares from there. The knee break is the whole fitting: 3 cm either way and the dress either walks or it does not.

Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.

Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.

The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.

Options We Can Build To

  • Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
  • Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
  • Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
  • Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.

Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
