Arabic Evening Dresses with a High Slit in Olive or Emerald

Source:News / Time:2026-10-31

When a request arrives with فساتين سهرة فتحة جانبية لون اخضر زيتي in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.

In production these are high slit evening dresses, cut in olive. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.

A high slit needs a faced placket and a bar-tack at the stop point. Without the tack, the slit splits past the stop within a season. Olive photographs darker than it reads in the hand. Light it properly before you approve the beading colour.

What Has To Be Specified

  • Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
  • Detail: High Slit. A high slit needs a faced placket and a bar-tack at the stop point. Without the tack, the slit splits past the stop within a season.
  • Colour: Olive, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
  • Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
  • Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
  • Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
  • Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
  • Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.

Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.

Options We Can Build To

  • Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
  • Detail alternatives on the High Slit: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
  • Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
  • Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
  • Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.

Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
