Arabic Evening Dresses with a Corset Bodice in Gold
فساتين سهرة صدر كورسيه لون ذهبي translates roughly to "evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production these are corset bodice evening dresses, cut in gold. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
A corset bodice is a build: boning channels, a waist tape to take the strain, and a busk or a lace-up back. The bones have to stop below the bust line or the top edge will curl out. Gold is a family of tones, not one colour. Fix the tone on a physical bead card and keep one reference per order.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Detail: Corset Bodice. A corset bodice is a build: boning channels, a waist tape to take the strain, and a busk or a lace-up back. The bones have to stop below the bust line or the top edge will curl out.
- Colour: Gold, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.

The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.
Options We Can Build To
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Detail alternatives on the Corset Bodice: scaled up, reduced to a plain panel, or moved to the back for a cleaner front.
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
