Affordable Satin Luxury Arabic Evening Dress for Plus Size - Wholesale
When a request arrives with فستان سهرة مقاسات كبيرة فخمة ورخيصة in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.
In production this is a satin evening dress in the luxury direction. Satin shows every needle mark and every bubble at the seam. Use a fine needle, a soft press cloth, and hang the dress for 24 hours before the final measurement. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Luxury in this category is a construction claim more than a price claim: boned bodice, hand-finished lining, beading that does not shed, and a hem that hangs level.
Plus sizing is a redraw, not a scale-up: the bust dart, the armhole and the waist drop all move, and the bodice has to be fitted on a real body. At an opening price point the shell weight and the lining are the two levers; keep the bodice structure and drop the surface decoration.
What Has To Be Specified
- Shell: Satin, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: name the exact tone and send a swatch. In this category a photo is not a colour reference.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
Satin shows every needle mark and every bubble at the seam. Use a fine needle, a soft press cloth, and hang the dress for 24 hours before the final measurement.
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
The first sample passes on the form and fails on a body: the waist sits high, the armhole cuts, or the sweep is 4 cm short. Fit on a real model before approving anything.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Options We Can Build To
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
