On Sale Soft Arabic Evening Dresses
The Arabic search phrase فساتين سهرة ناعمة عروض is the kind of query that lands in a factory inbox with a screenshot and a price, and nothing else. Unpacked, it names a length, a cloth and a finish - and those three decisions fix most of the cost before a single sample is cut.
In production these are evening dresses in the soft direction. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Soft styling favours drape over structure - gathered bodices, fluid skirts and decoration that follows the body instead of standing away from it.
Sale depth is where you trade the lining, the trim density and the bead size, in that order - the customer notices those last.
What Has To Be Specified
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: name the exact tone and send a swatch. In this category a photo is not a colour reference.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.

- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.

Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
