In production these are evening dresses in the royal direction. An A-line evening dress clears the hip and falls from the bust or the waist. It is the most forgiving block in the range and the easiest to grade from a 2XL up to a 5XL.
A royal direction means the dress carries its decoration centrally - a jeweled bodice, a defined waist and a skirt with controlled volume, nothing asymmetric.
