Silk Arabic Evening Dresses in Violet - Wholesale
The Arabic search phrase فساتين السهرة حرير بنفسجي is the kind of query that lands in a factory inbox with a screenshot and a price, and nothing else. Unpacked, it names a length, a cloth and a finish - and those three decisions fix most of the cost before a single sample is cut.
In production these are silk evening dresses, cut in violet. Silk gives the drape and the sheen, and it brings the QC problems with it: it water-spots, it slips under the needle, and it needs a cool press. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Violet and purple are the tones most likely to look different on a phone screen than in a hall - send a physical swatch, not a photo.
What Has To Be Specified
- Shell: Silk, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: Violet, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
The first sample passes on the form and fails on a body: the waist sits high, the armhole cuts, or the sweep is 4 cm short. Fit on a real model before approving anything.
Options We Can Build To
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.

Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
