Long Arabic Evening Dresses in Plum or Berry - Wholesale

Source:News / Time:2026-10-31

When a request arrives with فساتين السهرة طويلة توتي in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.

In production these are long evening dresses, cut in plum. A long evening dress runs to the ankle or the floor, which makes sweep and hem finish the design. A floor-length hem needs a horsehair or a weighted tape, or it will collapse in wear. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.

Plum and deep purple flatter a wide age range, which is why they repeat in evening ranges; keep the beading tone slightly warmer than the shell.

What Has To Be Specified

  • Length: Long, with the finished length and the hem allowance stated in centimetres, measured on the wearer, not on the form.
  • Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
  • Colour: Plum, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
  • Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
  • Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
  • Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
  • Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
  • Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.

Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.

Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.

The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.

Options We Can Build To

  • Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
  • Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
  • Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
  • Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.

Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
