Short Royal Arabic Evening Dresses in Emerald
When a request arrives with فساتين سهرة قصيرة اخضر ملكي in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.
In production these are short evening dresses in the royal direction, cut in emerald. A short evening dress finishes above the knee and lives or dies on the hem: a 2 cm difference changes the proportion at the leg completely, and that hem is photographed more than any other part of the garment. A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
A royal direction means the dress carries its decoration centrally - a jeweled bodice, a defined waist and a skirt with controlled volume, nothing asymmetric. Emerald and deep green are the colours most likely to shift under LED lighting, so approve the dip under the light the customer will actually stand in.
What Has To Be Specified
- Length: Short, with the finished length and the hem allowance stated in centimetres, measured on the wearer, not on the form.
- Block: Ball Gown bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: Emerald, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Options We Can Build To
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Beading: hand-applied, machine-guided, or replaced with embroidery at a lower density and a lower price.
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
