In production these are silk evening dresses, cut in white. Silk gives the drape and the sheen, and it brings the QC problems with it: it water-spots, it slips under the needle, and it needs a cool press. • Colour: White, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
• Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
• Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
• Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
• Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
• Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.
