Satin Sheath Arabic Evening Dress in Violet

Source:News / Time:2026-10-31

When a request arrives with فستان سهرة صك بنفسجي in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.

In production this is a satin evening dress, cut in violet. Satin shows every needle mark and every bubble at the seam. Use a fine needle, a soft press cloth, and hang the dress for 24 hours before the final measurement. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.

Violet and purple are the tones most likely to look different on a phone screen than in a hall - send a physical swatch, not a photo.

What Has To Be Specified

  • Shell: Satin, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
  • Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
  • Colour: Violet, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
  • Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
  • Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
  • Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
  • Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
  • Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production

Satin shows every needle mark and every bubble at the seam. Use a fine needle, a soft press cloth, and hang the dress for 24 hours before the final measurement.

A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.

The first sample passes on the form and fails on a body: the waist sits high, the armhole cuts, or the sweep is 4 cm short. Fit on a real model before approving anything.

The hem is where a cheap build shows. A 3 cm hem with a clean catch-stitch reads expensive; a 1 cm overlocked hem reads fast fashion.

Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
