Long Royal Arabic Evening Dresses
فساتين السهرة طويلة اخضر ملكي translates roughly to "long royal evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production these are long evening dresses in the royal direction, cut in emerald. A long evening dress runs to the ankle or the floor, which makes sweep and hem finish the design. A floor-length hem needs a horsehair or a weighted tape, or it will collapse in wear. A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
A royal direction means the dress carries its decoration centrally - a jeweled bodice, a defined waist and a skirt with controlled volume, nothing asymmetric. Emerald and deep green are the colours most likely to shift under LED lighting, so approve the dip under the light the customer will actually stand in.
What Has To Be Specified
- Length: Long, with the finished length and the hem allowance stated in centimetres, measured on the wearer, not on the form.
- Block: Ball Gown bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: Emerald, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.

Options We Can Build To
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
