Chiffon Arabic Evening Dresses in White
When a request arrives with فساتين سهرة شيفون ابيض in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.
In production these are chiffon evening dresses, cut in white. Chiffon needs a French seam or an overlocked edge, plus a fusible strip on every seam that takes strain. It also needs a lining that is cut separately. A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
White evening dresses sit close to bridal, so specify the exact white (optical, ivory, cream) and warn the buyer about optical brighteners.
What Has To Be Specified
- Shell: Chiffon, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
- Block: Sheath bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: White, with a lab dip approved against a physical swatch under both D65 and warm indoor light.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
Chiffon needs a French seam or an overlocked edge, plus a fusible strip on every seam that takes strain. It also needs a lining that is cut separately.
A sheath evening dress is straight and close, with a walking vent at the back and a lining that has to be cut a few millimetres shorter than the shell so it does not hang below the hem.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
Options We Can Build To
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Closure: invisible zip, exposed zip, corset lace-up or button placket, each with its own sample requirement.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
