Sequin Turkish Arabic Evening Dress Style for Bridal and Mother of the Bride
موديل فستان سهرة أم العروس ترتر تركية translates roughly to "style sequin turkish evening dress". In production terms it is a set of decisions rather than a single garment, which is exactly why it is worth specifying properly before the sample is cut.
In production this is a sequin evening dress in the turkish direction. Sequin fabric is a mesh base with the sequin applied, so it has a direction and a nap. Every panel must be cut the same way, and every seam has to be taped or it will ladder. A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Turkish evening wear is a fitted bodice with a very full skirt, usually in tulle or taffeta, and it is the reference most often sent to us with a photo of a bridal salon window.
Bridal-adjacent evening styles are ordered with a long lead time and fitted at least twice, so the sampling calendar is usually the constraint, not the price.
What Has To Be Specified
- Shell: Sequin, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
- Block: Ball Gown bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: name the exact tone and send a swatch. In this category a photo is not a colour reference.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
Sequin fabric is a mesh base with the sequin applied, so it has a direction and a nap. Every panel must be cut the same way, and every seam has to be taped or it will ladder.
A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
The first sample passes on the form and fails on a body: the waist sits high, the armhole cuts, or the sweep is 4 cm short. Fit on a real model before approving anything.
Beading is quoted per panel and bought per gram. A 15% allowance sounds generous until the third size run lands.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
Options We Can Build To
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Packing: flat-fold with tissue, hanger-ready, or individual sealed bag for glitter and bead styles.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.
Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
