Embroidered Turkish Arabic Evening Dress Style for Mother of the Bride
When a request arrives with موديل فستان سهرة أم العريس مطرز تركية in it, the useful first question is not the price. It is which of these attributes the buyer actually intends to sell on.
In production this is a embroidered evening dress in the turkish direction. Embroidery is a placement decision as much as a decoration one: the motif has to centre on the bodice, which means it is graded per size rather than repeated. A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Turkish evening wear is a fitted bodice with a very full skirt, usually in tulle or taffeta, and it is the reference most often sent to us with a photo of a bridal salon window.
Mother-of-the-bride sizing is the most variable in the range: cover the arm, extend the sleeve, and grade generously through the waist.
What Has To Be Specified
- Shell: Embroidered, hand and weight approved on a physical swatch - imported evening cloth rarely matches a screen.
- Block: Ball Gown bodice, fitted on a real model at the middle size before grading.
- Colour: name the exact tone and send a swatch. In this category a photo is not a colour reference.
- Bodice structure: say whether the bodice is boned, fused, or soft. This single line decides the fit, the price and the packing.
- Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
- Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
- Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
- Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Where This Style Goes Wrong In Production
Embroidery is a placement decision as much as a decoration one: the motif has to centre on the bodice, which means it is graded per size rather than repeated.
A ball gown carries a boned bodice and a skirt built from layers: tulle or organza over a crinoline, with the volume set by the number of layers rather than by the fabric weight.
Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.
Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.
Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
Options We Can Build To
- Lining: unlined bodice with a lined skirt, half-lined, or fully lined - the last one changes the hand and the cost together.
- Sizing: a four-size test run, a standard eight-size run, or a graded run to your own spec sheet.
- Shell swap: the same block in a lighter or heavier version of the base cloth, priced separately.

Pre-production sample approval, in-line inspection during cutting, beading and sewing, and a final AQL inspection before packing, with measurement reports and photos shared before shipment.
