In production these are long lace evening dresses in the turkish direction. A long evening dress runs to the ankle or the floor, which makes sweep and hem finish the design. • Lining: state bodice lining, skirt lining and whether the skirt is bagged out at the hem.
• Closure: name the type and position - invisible zip, lace-up back, or covered button placket.
• Sizing: give the size run, the grade rule and the fit model. A Gulf 2XL is not a European 2XL.
• Care: dry-clean-only is normal here; if the trim cannot survive solvent, say so before the label is printed.

Pressing decides the finish. Satin and taffeta take a needle mark in a second, and no amount of QC takes it out afterwards.

Grading is where the money disappears: every detail placed by eye on the sample has to be measured on the pattern, or the size run drifts.

Two rolls of the same colour name will not match. Buy one lot, keep a roll reference with the order, and cut the whole run from it.
